Day 31

So I missed a day, whoops.  Daddy had to take Ryan downstairs so I could sleep.   Being a working mom can be very tiring.

Daddy had Jury Duty this morning at 7:30, and Mommy had to be at work by 8.  Ryan spent the whole day with Uncle Wes.  Then we had to return Ryan's Halloween costume- because the 3-6mo dinosaur costume was way too big.  Sad to say, that was the smallest one they had.  So Daddy picked out a monkey costume from the Babies R Us website that we ordered.

So, I'm cheating because this was taken this past weekend and not today.  Bubby loved looking at the elephants.  They are his favorite.

5 days in his crib last week, & he's back in his bassinet.  I miss him when he's not next to me.

The beginning of a long day.  Bubbas woke up (& let me sleep in) until 10.  This is him watching me put my make-up on.  We had a picnic in the park & a fun day at the zoo.  We spent our evening at Aunt Jenny & Uncle Wes's house watching the UofA game.

When we came home,  Ryan was on the floor at the foot of our bed in his carseat.  Tim and I were laying next to each other on the bed, taking turns talking to Ryan.  Ryan eyes were going back and forth between Mom, Dad, Mom, then Dad.  It was so funny, I started crying. Ryan laughs when he hears Mommy & Daddy laughing.

Still a couple inches off the ground, but hard to believe Ryan is big enough to play in his jumperoo already.  He can kick his legs, bounce, and make the music play by himself.  Love.

Day 6

This post is going to count for Sept. 4, because I still haven't gone to bed yet.  =)  Tim and I had to go get something at Walmart after 10 o'clock tonight.  I felt bad taking Ryan out of bed, but he was already bathed, in jammies, and passed out.  Here he is waiting in the check out line.  It was crazy to me how many little kids I saw running around at Walmart tonight.

Tummy Time!  Ryan rolled over tonight, his first two times were 8/27.  I put him back on his tummy when Daddy came home- but he didn't want to roll over again.  Too much work.  Maybe tomorrow.
