Day 148

Bubba had Mac & Cheese for dinner tonight.  Yum.

Some new things that Ryan does, that mommy and daddy can't get enough of.

-When you clap, Ryan hits his hands together.  Can't quite clap, but trying hard.

-Wiggles his arms and legs when he's so excited.  (Okay, he's been doing this since he's been born, but it never gets old.)

-To try to get toys that he can't reach in the bathtub, Ryan uses his feet to bring the toys within arms reach.

-Grabs out our faces and plays with them.  Smacks Daddy and rubs Momma.

-Sits up pretty well now, especially with his boppy around him.

-Smacks the computer desk when he sits on our lap while we use the computer.

-Laughs when tickled, or about to be tickled.

-Says "mmmm" when he likes his food.

-Always squealing and always talking.

-Use to say a da da da da da, now it's "dada."

-Smiles every time we smile at him.

-Rolls EVERYWHERE.

Some of them aren't so new.  I can't believe how big my baby is getting.

Day 147

We spent the afternoon at the park for Cousin Kylie's 7th birthday party.  

Day 146

We had a nice day at home today.  We did some laundry.  Made bean & cheese burritos for breakfast, Ryan had peaches & cereal.  Did some dishes.  Caught up on Teen Mom 2.  Played forever downstairs.  Went on 2 walks.  Took 3 naps.  Snuggled a lot.  Made pulled pork sandwiches for dinner.  Baked some brownies.  Ryan took a bath and nursed himself to sleep at 7:30.

I was carrying Ryan around like a football during our second walk in the late afternoon.  He fell asleep like this.  He hasn't fallen asleep like that since he was a new baby!  So, we came back home and rocked in our glider.

Day 145

Day 144

These ultrasound pictures were taken a year ago today, on January 27, 2010.  I was 20 weeks pregnant.  We went in for our gender ultrasound.  Even though we found out at 13 weeks that Ryan was a boy.  I was nervous to go into the ultrasound.  I was hoping and praying that Ryan was still a boy, and I was a little nervous that he had somehow changed into a girl!  I was so relieved when the ultrasound tech did indeed, confirm that Ryan was still a boy.

Tim's mom came to the ultrasound with us.  Ryan was so perfect.  He was measuring perfectly.  He was wiggling and jumping around.  We saw him drinking, yawn, wave, move his little legs.  Amazing.

& Here he is, a whole year later.  Now 7 months 1 week and 4 days old.  He's still perfect and he's still amazing.

Day 143

My boys :)

Sent to me today while I was at work.

Tonight Tim and I ate at Casa Del Rio & Bubby sat in the high chair for the first time!  He sits in his all the time, but never has he at a restaurant.  What a big boy.

Day 142

Ryan feeding himself some Gerber Graduates Lil Crunchies.  I let him eat 4 of them, and it took a few minutes to eat them all.  I loved just watching his little fingers try and pick up the food and somehow shove it in his mouth.  

& Now,  I'm listening to him talk to himself on his baby monitor before he falls asleep.
