Day 183

Tim & Ryan celebrating Tim's birthday at a D backs/White Sox game.  I couldn't make it because I had to work.  But some of our family friends were able to.

We watched Bubby crawl around on the floor.  I love just watching Ryan do new things together.  It blows us away how big he is getting and how he does new things all the time.

After we put Ryan down, we got some bean and cheese burritos for Los Betos, watched "Restrepo" and ate some yummy cheesecake.

Happy Birthday to the best Daddy and Husband,  We love you.

Day 182

One of my student's Grandma's donated a $50 visa giftcard to our classroom.

I got a pencil sharpener.  Is it sad that I got so excited for a pencil sharpener?

I am happy!

Day 181

I had mentioned in here how Ryan "swims," he gets on his toes and sticks his butt in the air when doing it.  So, here is Tim trying to teach Ryan how to crawl.  But Ryan doesn't want to, he flops right back down.

Tim's birthday is on Monday.  Ryan & I took him out to Red Lobster tonight.  I don't eat sea food so I got chicken tenders and fries.  Tim thinks I'm boring.  & I refused to try his lobster pizza.  Yuck.

Day 180

After I get Ryan ready for bed, we play for a little while.  He would not stop playing with this diaper box that was under his crib.  So, I pulled it out for him and stuck him in it.  I pushed him around in it and out into the loft into daddy's office.  Tim & I had so much fun just pushing Ryan around in a box and laughing at him.  We're easily amused, & Ryan liked it too :)

Ryan will not keep his tongue in his mouth!  It (almost) ALWAYS looks like this.  It makes me laugh.

Day 179

I just checked on Ryan and this is what he looked like.  He has a lot of junk in his crib!  I need to take some of it out.  Ryan has insulation in his window so it's always dark. Tim said that when he got Ryan out of the crib this morning, he was playing with his football, in the pitch dark.

At naptime- I laid Ryan in his crib.  & All I heard for at least half an hour was his v-tech toy.  The one right next to him.  I have all the songs memorized.  He played with it forever, after a half hour+ he started crying so I took him out.  He decided not to take a nap today.  He did take a small one in the car today.

We did some more shopping.  I can't help myself when it comes to baby clothes for Ryan.  I tried uploading this picture 3 different times and it keeps coming out sideways!  ugh.  The green shirt with the plaid pants is his St. Patricks Day outfit, I actually bought that last weekend.  & The white polo with the plaid shorts is what I'm thinking he might wear on Easter.

Day 177

Hmm.. What's on this shelf?

oooh. My toy from Auntie Becca.  I can hold it on my belly.

I can make it spin on the ground and watch the balls move.

I can hold it and make the balls move!

I can push it around.

I can stare at it while Mommy pushes the button on top.

That was fun.

What a fun way to spend 20 minutes with Ryan.
